Play the Caption Game

I remember looking at old pictures of my parents and thinking, what were THEY thinking when my dad wore those pants and could my mom had picked a weirder hairstyle? Some of those looks were sad, really – just plain sad. But where they did look not only not horrible but downright cool are the ones where they’re wearing sunglasses. Those vintage sunglasses were awesome. I’d give just about anything for that one pair of aviators my mom was wearing in that shot at Disneyland. Her Hawaiian print shorts, not so much – but her shades? They rocked.

That must be why I’m seeing vintage sunglasses around a lot lately. It seems like every time you see a celebrity they’re wearing them too. That makes them popular, sure. But they’re also popular because they’re COOL. I’ve got my own collection of them now, because someday, someone might be looking at old pictures of me and they can make fun of my clothes and my hair all they want. But my sunglasses? They’ll be drooling over them – just you wait.

Something a friend asked me one day was how I bought by sunglasses.  Of course I go to the local mall and find a supplier that way.  He told me to stop paying the high prices and look online at many of the wholesale companies who sell sunglasses.  I was shocked to see so many wholesalers of sunglasses it amazed me.  This next time I buy I am really considering buying them from a wholesaler.
