Solving Vocal Pitch Problems with Your Voice

Most vocalists have problems with their voice pitch whether they realize it or not. The fact is that everyone sings off pitch and it is only a matter of how far and for how long someone sings off pitch. The longer someone is off pitch the more noticeable the problem until after a certain point in which the listener begins to question the possible intention of singing a bad note and then accepts the problem. The degree of being off pitch is the sister component, where small amounts of being off pitch are virtually undetectable by the human ear, but larger discrepancies are noticeable by everyone. Vocal pitch problems stem from two fundamental problems, and a myriad of contributing factors. First, singers must develop an ear for what being on pitch means which can take a few minutes or significant training. Second, vocalists can not hear themselves properly due to the auditory wave pattern path, which is different than listening to others sing. Once the first two issues are addressed, the are a many great techniques to naturally improve vocal pitch, including good posture and solid breath support.
