Play the Caption Game

I wasn’t sure that I really wanted a picket fence around my yard.  I had looked at a rail fence and was leaning that way.  However, on further thought, I decided I needed a little more definition and the security of keeping the dogs in the yard, so a white picket fence is what I went with.  I have been so pleased with the process and speed of which we’ve been able to get the posts set and the fence panels placed and up.  As I watched the process of the fence going up, it became more and more apparent that I had made the right decision.

I looked at some of the vinyl choices but ended up choosing the wood picket fencing because I love everything natural.  The fact that it’s made of cedar is such a bonus because cedar is resistant of insects and water and lasts longer than a lot of other types of woods.  The fence pieces we received were very nice and straight and came just as we were told.  The gate came with all the hardware and went together very quickly and easily as well.
