I am passionate about my jewelry. When I find jewelry pendants that actually seem to come alive, I must have them! Sound mysterious? Well it isn’t, at least I don’t think it is!

Some of the best animal-themed designs I’ve seen come from The Magic Zoo, an online jewelry store run by the artist and her husband. She has some magnificent pieces in both silver and gold. And not all of them are charms. I’ve seen lovely earrings and brooches as well as bracelet charms. I’m so happy I found this place, and I plan on spreading the word as fast as I can!

It’s funny how sterling silver charms for bracelets are coming back in vogue. I thought they went out with the 1950s, but now I keep seeing them everywhere I look. My boyfriend even asked me if I’d like a gold charm for Valentine’s Day next February! And believe me, he is no expert on jewelry. I’m wondering if his mother put him up to it. But I told him, first of all, that I preferred sterling silver, and second of all, I don’t own a charm bracelet! Then he got this gleam in his eye. It is so hard for him to surprise me, but I will certainly try to act the part on February 14th!
