I remember looking at old pictures of my parents and thinking, what were THEY thinking when my dad wore those pants and could my mom had picked a weirder hairstyle? Some of those looks were sad, really – just plain sad. But where they did look not only not horrible but downright cool are the ones where they’re wearing sunglasses. Those vintage sunglasses were awesome. I’d give just about anything for that one pair of aviators my mom was wearing in that shot at Disneyland.
